In a topic about the Joker, I got to wondering:
Which comic book character has died and been resurrected the most?
Hmmmn.
I would go for Jean Grey or perhaps Cyborg.
Aunt May…she’s been hospitalized, what, 50 times?
Or as a technicality, you could throw in Resurrection Man.
I don’t know…FWIW, “Cassidy” from the “Preacher” series has died (or equivalent of) quite a fair bit.
Yeah, no one can top Resurrection Man.
Now, the Lizard has been “destroyed for good” more times than I can count.
Oh wait. Superman. Remember Gog? He went forward through time, killing Supes every single day for like a gazillion years. No wait, he went backwards. I think. Then again, Superman didn’t get resurrected. But he was alive by the end of the story. My head hurts. I’ll just stick with RM.
Although he has never died Batman must be in the top 5. Since 1939 he has shot more than anybody else, had all his limbs broken, had his back broken and has has been knocked out so many times i’m amazed he doesn’t sound like a punchdrunk boxer.
