Comic strip poll/psychological profiling

I feel that the order in which one reads their Sunday comic strips reveals some important things about the person in question. A glimpse of the underlying fabric of their persona, if you will. My preferred order is as follows:

  1. Calvin & Hobbes (ok, ok… so it’s not being run any more… damnit! I can dream can’t I?!)

  2. Dilbert (a must read for all office workers)

  3. Sally Forth

  4. For better or for worse

  5. B.C.

  6. Cathy

  7. Garfield

  8. Marvin

  9. Shoe

  10. Peanuts (it’s a classic, I know… but I’m sorry… it just ain’t that funny)

  11. Ziggy

  12. Mother Goose & Grim

  13. Born Loser

  14. Hagar the Horrible

  15. Beetle Bailey

  16. Wizard of Id

  17. Family Circus

  18. Prince Valiant

  19. Dennis the Menace (I loathe this little piece of crap)
I think this order classifies me as a neo-office-familyman-pragmatic-impatient-slacker-sheepish-pseudo-professional. Poll for the masses. What’s your comic strip reading order/classification?

Hey, did you ever think that Calvin might be schizophrenic? He had a tiger to talk to, that had it’s own ideas, and no one else could…

Bill watterson (the creator) said he never wanted to explain why it was like that, so he never did. What’s up w/ that?

What, you didn’t have stuffed animals that you talked to when you were little, Totoro?

Bill Watterson is a genius.

Dude, when I was little, I got into fist fights with my stuffed animals. But I always knew what they were going to say, and where they would try and hit me.

It was often the groin. I blocked it, most of the time. Every once in a while…

Everythings been going to hell in a handbasket since Bloom County quit running.

Top left to bottom right, with the junior jumble thrown in for good measure. That’s if I’m actually reading a newspaper, which is rare.

I also buy the collections so I can read them all in a row, or in one sitting. Of course, some collections do not include every cartoon that has been released.

I also follow several web-comics.

I believe this classifies me as an overly-analytical completist, with an eye for the avant-garde. Or maybe somebody who just reads the funnies instead of paying attention to the news.
