I see more 9/11 references are appearing in the comics. I’d say the best is in For Better or For Worse.
Yeah, I’ve seen quite a few myself. Most of them are handled pretty well.
“Get Fuzzy,” a stupid strip in happier times, had some nice episodes about donating blood and moving ones about attending police/firefighter funerals.
The poor bastard who writes “The Boondocks,” though, got kicked out of the NEW YORK DAILY NEWS newspaper because of his politically inflammatory commentary.
“Cathy,” maintains her stoic silence. I’m proud that, in these trying times of national turmoil, she’s sticking to twittering and dithering over shopping and diets.
For those with a more, ah, twisted sense of humor, Salon’s **Tom the Dancing Bug **had a pretty original take on the whole idea of comic strips dealing with the World Trade Center tragedy.
You’ll either laugh out loud, or think it’s not funny at all…
Seemingly Marvel are addressing it in their Spiderman comic.

How is it that this message board always seems to be in synch with The Onion?
I love the ‘Hello Greg’ picture on the sketchpad.
My reaction:
I did like the Far Side spoof, though.
I enjoy Tom Tomorrow:

Also, the South Park episode last week was hilarious.
