I know Abed gets all the fan love, but Troy absolutely makes this show for me. He just nails his delivery every time.
The character of troy isn’t especially interesting, but I think the actor who’s playing him really does a great job. The delivery of some of his lines cracks me up way more than the line itself justifies.
Troy always sounds like he’s in on the joke.
Another example of that was when they were talking about the butt-flag:
Troy: “How did you know it was us? We submitted it anonymously. Whoops.”
The delivery was just perfect.
Well, it didn’t actually look much like an anal sphincter.
Did the show seem like it was really short? I know it was 22 minutes, and there didn’t seem to be extra commercials (besides the KFC plugs), but it seemed like it was 15 minutes long…
I watched it on OnDemand, and it was the normal length. NBC’s shows on OnDemand only have one commerical per break (and it’s always a commercial for some NBC show, like the Event or Outsourced). OnDemand lists the run time as 24 minutes, so it was normal length. You just must’ve been having a good time so time flew.
Already mentioned, but that thing with Chang and rerouting the power to where, that was hilarious.
Did you guys see the KFC burgers in the trees as they drove up to the media launch? Hah!
Also, the guy asking questions to the Dean when they were brainstorming kept switching spots. There was definitely something up with people in the background too…I swear the cameraman was Woody Harrelson.
