Thanks Oredigger77! I must have missed that episode so I will have to go looking for it to view it now. This really is a little gem of a show! I haven’t been watching that long, can you tell?! The whole cast works well together as an ensemble, even CC as Pierce (not one of my favorite characters!). Ah well, thanks again.

They’ve been teasing us with Annie from the start. I was rewatching season 1, and there’s a scene (I forget which episode) in which someone says something like “we’re like a family, except there’s no reason we can’t have sexual relations with each other” and they all look at each other, considering… and when Britta looks at Annie, they… have a moment.
And they went like 5 or 6 episodes where they were always joking about Annie’s powerful cleavage yet never showing it off.
And then there was the pen episode where she was milliseconds from ripping off her clothes…
And then the almost-kiss last night.
No, I’m not stalking Alison Brie.
The Abed/Troy thing went a little too far. I like their friendship, but it should not get in the way of banging superhot librarian chick, especially since there was nothing shady about the whole deal.
You forgot last week, when Annie enthusiastically launched into a detailed, explicit imaginary seduction of a woman while playing the role of a warrior with a giant penis.
No, I most certainly did not forget that.

You really should seek out that episode, as it’s one of the best ones. It was formally called “Contemporary American Poultry” and was an homage to Goodfellas.

Interestingly, if you google the ep you may be able to find a clip showing the pen actually getting stolen earlier in the episode, a very nice little detail

I am a big fan of the Bare Naked Ladies, but I completely agree with Jeff that there’s absolutely no good reason to shorten the name in conversation.
Pretty cool song too, one of the better ones in years.
I agree, it is why I put BNL in quotes in fact. ELP, ELO, CCR, CSN & ABW&H are groups where the acronym works but Bare Naked Ladies are Bare Naked Ladies not “BNL”.

I can’t believe they missed a “Where’s Waldo” joke with Chang’s outfit. I kept waiting for it.
I think it was one of those jokes that did not need to be said. My wife commented on it during the scene and got a laugh out of me.
