Community 5/17 - 3 episodes

I would play the *hell *out of that game. As a die-hard gamer that was my favorite episode of the three, but I can see that it wouldn’t be to everyone’s taste.

Did I imagine it, or did Evil Abed say, “Cruel cruel cruel”?

And I could not sit through it at all, I had to get up and go do dishes. But then, I have never played a video game.

I didn’t care for the video game episode and the other two were OK, but not nearly as much fun as last week’s episode.

That’s what I heard.

I liked the video game one, the site gags were great, and I’m a huge dork for that kind of pixilated stuff. I think the last one was great too, it tied up a lot of what happened this year, (like with evil Abed, Shirley’s bakery, troy’s repairman side storry). So now they might be able to focus on original stuff for next year that wont be lost on a new viewer.

“I think I might dye My Hair”

Yes it did.

The video game episode tickled me. I barely play any video games these days, but my high school memories include many hours playing Super Mario 3, Dragon Warrior, and Final Fantasy, so I appreciated the video game humor. Especially the blacksmith scene. That totally had me in stitches.

I liked the video game episode best.

When I saw Giancarlo Esposito I couldn’t help but squee with delight. It’s Gus!!!

What Star Wars riffs?

Chang and Jeff’s aborted “light sabre” battle, I’d guess.

One of my favorite bits in the video game episode was the way Troy was constantly bouncing all over, like he couldn’t keep his finger off the “jump” button. Annie and Shirley massacring the blacksmith and his wife was pretty good, too.

“No witnesses!” I think I want to stay on Shirley’s good side …

OK, how’s this for next year? They’re all instructors at the college and instead of meeting as a study group they now meet in the the faculty lounge.

Ok, got a chance to watch the video game. It was tedious. I’ll play video games, but I’m not going to watch someone else playing them.

I have a feeling that if someone goes to the trouble of pausing every frame of the video game, it will be full of Easter eggs, particularly the menus.

In case anyone missed it; ‘Valley of Laziness’ is full of tacos. ‘Gay Island’ has rainbows, and a phallic island with white “clouds” coming out of it. Free Ride Ferry is a wheelchair. Black Cave, has a fried chicken platform.

Wonder how much the budget is for this show.

And a sombrero.

Question: At the end of the finale, did Britta move into the former Dreamatorium, or was Troy moving into it?

I think Troy. It seemed like Abed was going to keep the blanket room with the one-man dreamatorium.
