Community Season Premiere

Hmmm. No Inspector Spacetime webisodes on NBC.COM yet. It’s just a matter of time.

One of the big announcements at Comic-Con. Check out the special appearance by Annie’s Boobs.

I need a monkey.

I suspect this will be a running gang with Abed.

Jeff has to have a BA before he can get his law license back, right?

SIX SEASONS AND A MOVIE!
ignore this, all caps filter is the suxorz, and also removed any caps from the quote, sorry

I thought she was going to hook him on Blake’s Seven.

For those who don’t know:

It ends with a massacre of all the heroes.

Also, Abed’s first breakdown was caused by his learning that Cougartown has moved to mid-season.

(Enter Abed’s Rain Man Mode) Never a good thing. Never a good thing… cue shrieking noise… Fail of Abed. (exit ARMM)

I remember both series were showing like 20 second cameos last season of each other. I liked it. I hope they keep that up.

I second the second Kubrick reference. Unless I’ve gone back in time, then you should square my vote.

ETA: I’ll go ahead and admit it… (ahem) … I watch Cougartown… AND I LIKE IT.

I’m looking forward to see the direction that the John Goodman character is going to take the show. It’s nice to have fresh drama in the show to keep things from getting too meta. Plus, John Goodman is all sorts of funny.

And now there’s a full Inspector Spacetime TV Tropes page.

…he often takes on associates who are similarly searching for something/looking to improve themselves. Except Jeffrey. Everyone hates Jeffrey.

Love it.

What was the guest star misstep last season?

I’m guessing its a reference to Betty White. Personally, I didn’t see it as a big problem.

I would assume it was a reference to Jack Black’s guest appearance. Betty White’s character was a crazy professor like many others that have been on the show and didn’t dominate her episodes. The Jack Black episode was basically the Jack Black episode.

I liked the Jack Black thing a lot … The whole “cooler” study group thing was hilarious.

Bumping an old thread so as not to waste time with a new one…

Did anyone else see the Cougarton Abbey ending + Jeff saying “So this is the year we all die” as foreshadowing of this being the last season? It seems like something Community would do, although it’s obviously not the American way. Plus I heard Dan Harmon in an interview talk about how they had plenty of ideas on how the show could extend past 4 seasons. Still, it struck my curiosity.

I’m pretty sure that was just an off hand remark about Changs inevitable abuse of power.
