Also, what does the name I am registered with have anything to do with anything? I wanted to use the name Tom, which is my name, but was told to use a name with more than three words, the first thing that came to my mind was “TopTom” indicating that I was the top of the Toms.
The decent thing would have been to delete or censor the people who were incorrectly saying I was disingenuous, which you did not do, but which you still could do. Also, you now seem to be claiming that I am disingenuous which is incorrect. Furious Marmot admitted that the word she/he used is juvenile and also suggested that she/he felt that people were mocking and rejecting me. I did not argue against these people, I clearly stated they were wrong and they are, as are you. I continue to expect apologizes which I feel is not at all uncalled for. They made a mistake and they should have the guts to apologize.
If you looked at my other posts and comments you could easily see that I am polite and considerate of other’s feelings. You could delete this post, you could delete other of my post and you could stop me from commenting, but that does not make you right.

Complaints about moderation belong in About This Message Board. You should perhaps have done a little reading before posting. Then you’d know this stuff, and the party’s you’re addressing will more likely see it.
Not going to comment on the modding – perhaps it was right perhaps it wasn’t perfect. But I will say that a lot of posters on that thread made what seems like unwarranted assumptions/snide comments about the OP.
I think (we) too many times jump on ‘noobs’ like a wolf pack on fresh meat.
As Shodan says, stick around and give the board a chance, TopTom – it’s a pretty darn good one if my over 10 on it years mean anything.
Yeah, there IS a tendency for some to give new posters a hard time. While we’re not asking you to tolerate much foolishness, you need to give new people the benefit of the doubt, or at least engage them constructively before you start throwing rocks at 'em.
That being said, some people do come here with their own agenda that needs airing, they’re not really interested in the more community aspects of the message board. We discourage such use.
