I know I’m late starting something like this, but I had the idea a month ago, and the recent sad passing of Chris Penn has reminded me of the idea.
This game has the same rules as the regular Celebrity Death Pool, but the game is different, and here’s how:
a.) You can pick your choices until the end of the month- 7 days left!
b.) The 10 celebs must be under the age of… what’s a senior citizen, 65? Let’s just say 60.
c.) The celebs can’t have current heart problems or history of heart failure, though they can be overweight, underweight, or gaining weight at an alarming rate! (Dr. Seuss on celebrity death)
d.) The celebs can’t have current diseases, or drug problems, or suicidal tendencies, etc. etc.
Besides that (and until you come up with some more rules we should have), that’s it! Here’s the object of the game: to pick 10 celebs whom you think have the most chance of dying a freak, unlikely death this year- and by freak, unlikely death, I mean that these celebs aren’t the old, terminal, druggie types you can bet on dying this year (like you do in Celebrity Death Pool)- these are the random tragic deaths that are pretty much impossible to see coming and likely won’t!
For all 10 celebs, state the reason why you picked them. You can change celebs until the stroke of midnight, February 1st.
1.) Sean Penn- maybe he’ll kill himself out of grief over brother Chris’ death. (apologies to those I’m offending with this comment and this thread)
2.) Jeff Garlin- he’s the obese man from Curb Your Enthusiasm. He’s obese, but hey, so am I…
3.) Oprah Winfrey- I don’t know why I pick her.
4.) President Bush- he will be assassinated by somebody; it doesn’t take much to imagine that.
5.) Kanye West- he’s the best thing to happen to hip-hop in a while, he’s poetic and on fire and- bam bam bam, a tragic death I predict (he’s not at all gangsta, though).
6.) Michelle Rodriguez- damn drunk driving, taking away one of the hottest women…
7.) Alex Tew- OK, I don’t know if he counts as a ‘celebrity,’ but the guy was famous as 'the 21 year old guy who made a million bucks with the Million Dollar Homepage, and that’s pretty famous in my book. Anyways, as you can read, he’s been threatened several times by hackers who blackmailed him, hoping to get his money. I think he could get kidnapped, murdered at his home or whatever for the money. Seems reasonable.
8.) Ralphie May- guess.
9.) Lindsay Lohan- a disgruntled and obsessed fan attacks her from the crowd; god, how awful…
10.) One of the Bush twins- take your pick; a psycho kidnaps one or both and threatens to harm them if Bush doesn’t step down or something…
Man, I pulled a lot of those out of my kisser. I had some ideas for whom I’d nominate a month ago… maybe I’ll remember later.
So let’s begin! And please, although my picks were stupid, don’t make it into a joke if you can help it- try to pick ones the best you can.
