Computer question - help me remove this adware!

There is some sort of spyware or adware on my computer that I cannot for the life of me figure how to get rid of. It’s something called PerfectNav, and it pops up when a page doesn’t load fast enough while I am on the internet. I looked at the PerfectNav webpage and it says:

Perfect Nav is an application that is bundled with the Free Ad Supported version of Kazaa Media Desktop. Perfect Nav can be removed when Kazaa is uninstalled.

I do not have Kazaa. I uninstalled and deleted it some time ago. I’m positive that I no longer have Kazaa on the computer.

There is a PerfectNav folder in my program files. It won’t let me delete it. It is not in the “Add/Remove Programs” list. It’s not really hurting anything I don’t think, but it is bugging the crap out of me! Ad-aware and Spybot don’t find it either.

Any ideas on what I can do to remove this annoyance once and for all?

And pestproof yourself - use another browser (Firefox and Opera are both very nice). No ActiveX = few (if any) parasites.
