Computor disaster! Need url's

I dropped my P.C moving it.

What a putz!

Damage-Motherboard-which must have shorted and so killed the processor and memory.
Took the chance to put some shiny bits in and now everything is just peachy ,it only took a week to get it all at the right price.

I even installed Win98 2nd ed but
by doing so I managed to lose all my favourites.I’ve got some back but one I really wanted was a site that gave links to useful referance info.
So if anyone can help out it’d be much appreciated.

If the mother*board was damaged the hard disk should still be readable. In any case that is why you should make backups. Even though I have full backups, I keep an extra backup of the favorites folder on a floppy.

So… make backups! Someday you’ll be glad you did

You might want to check out the recent Weird Earl (URL) thread in the ATMB forum.

Thanks to all you’ve been very kind.

Isn’t there always someone round to give you sensible advice eh?

I tried to make a copy of my favourites and put it on the partition of my h/d before changing o/s but made a pigs ear of it.At least I managed to keep my downloads.

So get a free cookier manager from download.com, it’ll find the old cookies with the sites on them. Pretty nifty,eh?

Also, search your HD for a file: bookmark.*
