Confirm this 'Star Trek' (TOS) babe:

Episode Wolf in the Fold, featuring creepy-mousy-nebbish-at-large John Fiedler as “the bad alien.” I believe that the belly dancer (the first victim) for this Jack-the-Ripper successor is portrayed by an obscure actress named Tanya Lemani, who has a rather uninspired list of credits, according to IMDB.

The belly dancer does not have a name given in the program, but in the closing credits, there is a credit for a “Kara,” protrayed by “Tania Lemani” [sic]. If the dancer did indeed have a name, I either missed it, or that part was cut for syndication (as all old programs are to allow for more commercial time). However, I did not see another notable actress that might have been “Kara,” and I didn’t hear anyone else reffered to by that name.

So. . . I’m just looking for confirmation on this suspicion.

(In an unrelated not, Bones gets to say “She’s dead, Jim,” three different times in this one.

You have to really scroll down but maybe it’ll help you.

The Star Trek Concordance lists Kara as Tania Lemani.

That is confirming the parts that I already know. I accept that “Kara” is portrayed by “Tania Lemani.” What I’m looking for is that “Kara” was the name of the belly dancer–or, if not, just who the hell was this babe?

Ok from what i found she was a belly dancer and played one in a few shows.Barnaby(shoot the gun out of his hand) Jones being one of them. And danced the opening credits in From Russia With Love.Maybe that helps a little more.

Thanks.

The concordance lists Kara as the dancer Scotty takes for a walk.
BTW, the woman from “Spock’s Brain” is also named Kara.

“Brain, brain, what is brain?!”
