Hey folks, just wanted to offer my congratulations on getting the 2010 World Cup!
The WC in America was a big deal, although not on a par of interest to the avg. Yankee as the Superbowl or something, but it made a splash. It went very well and the economy got a bit of a jump in the host cities and interest in soccer really spiked (although it’s still more a thing for kids here). But I would guess it’s a bigger deal in countries where soccer is a bit more important 
So go out and celebrate! Are y’all the first sub-Saharans to get the Cup? And how big a deal is this to the avg. person?
