What wonderful news-mazel tov!
Congrats and well done!
Congratulations!
Congrats MsRobyn! WOOHOO!!! Sounds like Aaron is turning into quite the party animal there, too.
Congrats!
You are making the rest of us look sloppy.
Here’s to you, MsRobyn! breaks out the champagne and confetti
Robin, I was going to send you an email to tell you this personally rather than getting mushy and stuff on a message board but I can’t since you don’t have email turned on - so, let me just say that you’re really an inspiration to me as I’m going to school now too. I’m very proud of you, and hope that I can do half as well.
Thanks!
Robin
Great news, and I add my own congratulations!
MsRobyn, sorry to hijack your thread, I would have preferred to email you with this question, but …
Anyway, I am involved with a boyscout group who are having a Scavenger Hunt. One of the items is a postcard from a service man in Iraq. Any chance that Airman Doors would send me one? (My email address is in my profile, send me an email and I’ll get you my address.)
Thanks
Ron
Sure. Not sure when it’ll get here, but I’ll send an e-mail today.
Robin
Congrats. I remember getting mine, I know it takes a lot of work.
One A-, three B+'s, and one pass. Final GPA: 3.762 End result: Summa cum laude!
Robin
dance of joy
Go MsRobyn! Looks like Aaron needs to don another cake hat and party down some more. Congrats again!
Congratulations, MsRobyn, and best of luck in grad school!
Way cool MsRobyn!
Any plans for your thesis?
Perhaps, “Boards On The Internet - Fighting Ignorance Or Propagating Propaganda?”
I just checked, and I was mis-remembering. 3.8 and higher is summa cum laude. I got a 3.762, so I got magna. HIGH magna, but magna. I’m so humiliated.
DMark, I’m planning to do my thesis on payola, and specifically, attitudes and ethics. I want to answer the question: “Is payola even wrong?”
The department chair and my advisor are really excited about this topic. Payola is coming up as a problem again, but it’s not really “sexy”.
Robin
Pfft. Return all the congratulations, then – we’ve lost all respect for you.
If it’s any consolation, when I graduated undergrad, I think my professors said:
He’s Gone! Oh Lawdy!"
What? It’s funny down here in the south.
