They are all wearing shirts that read 'Were not our hearts burning". So this photo was probably taken just before they got shoved into the ovens by the Biden Gazpacho.
The prefect was so angry that he had a great gridiron prepared with hot coals beneath it and had Lawrence placed on it, hence Lawrence’s association with the gridiron. After the martyr had suffered pain for a long time, the legend concludes, he cheerfully declared: “I’m well done on this side. Turn me over!” From this St. Lawrence derives his patronage of cooks, chefs, and comedians.
The conservative site The Washington Examiner occasionally shows articles on my MSN feed when I open a new tab, and this came down the pike today about MTG. The opinion piece wants Republicans to stop helping her, and start trying to get rid of her. Glad to see someone at that paper has some sense.
I hope that Republicans not only whole heartedly embrace Empty Greene and all her positions, but I also hope that they shout out their support of Putin, and even nominate him for “man of the year”, and tell everyone what a great and stupendous man he is.
Marjorie Taylor Greene has a lot of support from Republican backbenchers, because some of the money she raises gets spread around the entire Republican caucus. She has no committee work to do, so she’s always doing the fundraising. She does plenty of dialing-for-dollars among large donors and pulls in tons of small donor money every time she goes viral.
So she’s going to complain bitterly about backstabbers if other Republicans turn on her, and she’ll draw plenty of attention when she does. I don’t see her getting kicked out any time soon.
For some odd reason, she apparently decided to go with some direct mail appeals this past quarter, the costs of which put her into the red for the quarter. Perhaps she was using the purchase of direct mail services as a way to get on the good side of some of the Republican consultant class.
I’m also guessing she’s put some money forward into TV ad time for spots to run during the GOP primary, since her chance of losing the general are slim and none.
Even though her bottom line the last 3 months was negative, she’s still raised almost eight and half million dollars during the current cycle, and has 3 million in the bank. That kind of cash can buy a lot of friends.
Why doesn’t her opponent question her mental competence, given her severe memory loss at the hearing? Of course, everyone know she’s lying, but she can’t claim there’s nothing wrong with her memory.
Because her voters aren’t stupid, at least not in that way. They know she is using “can’t recall” to keep her ass out of jail. They in large part support what she was saying before she “forgot” - so her having selective, convenient amnesia isn’t a problem.
