Connecting to the Internet in Prague with my HTC G1 Droid.

I hope there are some Dopers familiar with Android and/or the G1 phone who can help.

I unlocked my T-Mobile HTC G1 and installed a Vodfone SIM here in Prague. I have phone service and the SIM is supposed to provide Internet, too, but I can’t get online, except via WiFi. Someone at the Vodfone store said I should be able to connect, but he couldn’t help me set up the phone.

Before I left the US, a rep for T-Mobile (my home carrier) said I would only be able to use 2G connections. The phone has a setting for using 2G only, but it doesn’t matter how it’s set: no connection.

I’ll try asking at some G1 forums, too, but I always try the Dope first.

Never mind. Someone at another Vodaphone store entered the right APN.
