Hey all,
I dug this computer game out yesterday and have since spent far too much time playing it. Such a great game, despite the occasional flaw. Anyway, I’ve always wondered about something and was wondering if the collected wisdom of SD could answer:
In the deluxe version of the game there are several “special discoveries.” Specifically:
- Temple of War
- Ancient Ruins
- Fountain of Youth
As I recall, the Temple of War allows your leaders to organize more troops and launch more attacks per turn. The Fountain of Youth increases the speed of population growth. I have never known what control of the Ancient Ruins gives you.
Does anyone:
Know what the Ancient Ruins do?
Have a cite for exactly what the other two do? The memory is vague after all this time?
I’ve also never really understood naval combat in that game, but that’s a separate issue :-P.
