Conscientious Fund

The military has a “Conscientious Fund” for those that have stolen items from the US Government. They receive money constantly…from people as far back from WWII. What is this fund’s address and how can we find out how much money has been deposited into it. And most importantly what is the money being used for today.

No, I’m sure it is Conscientious.
It means the fund is meant to govern or conform you to the dictates of your conscience.

I found this about a conscience fund for taxpayers who cheated on their taxes in the past.

The Conscience Fund isn’t well-known. It has been around since 1811, when someone claiming to have defrauded the government sent in $5. It’s now the depository for anonymous payments sent to the Internal Revenue Service and other agencies.

It’s administered by Rogers’ office, deposited into the Treasury as “miscellaneous receipts” and used for whatever the government needs.

While the givers are assured of anonymity, they’re not off the hook if they eventually are caught by other means for whatever wrong they committed.
