Of course, knives are just as effective as guns and easier to sneak into schools, so he instructed the killer to use a knife. However, guns have a mystical property which helps them kill federales, so that’s why we need them for the purposes of armed rebellion.

Damn. I just found out a friend of mine actually believes this garbage. I’m really shocked actually, I’ve never known anyone in real life who was actually one of these conspiracy nutters. He posted some things about it on Facebook that read as jokes at first. Nope, he believes it. 
I’m pretty disappointed.
It’s kind of funny/sad that there are people you think the government killed a bunch a small children basically to revive an assault weapon ban that already existed. I, personally, wouldn’t go to the “killing children” option unless it’s something a lot more radical, like, say, cutting the defense budget or giving free bus fare to war widows.

It was kind of amusing for a while, in a poke-the-bear kind of way. Then it just got sad and annoying. I know a lot of people (aka, the brainwashed sheep 
) have blocked him or dumped him.

This craziness, has severed my family. My husband and I, ignored the prepper stuff, from his family. It seemed harmless. They were still themselves. It was kind of weird, when these die-hard Republicans, became Libertarians, but still harmless.
Everything changed, after Sandy Hook. Within an hour, after the first reports came in, they were on FB, whining about the possibility of a gun ban. “Obama is going to use this, to take our guns!!!. THIS is not the time to talk about gun control!!!” 
Then my nephew posted that video, without a comment. I commented that it was ridiculous, and I hoped he didn’t believe it. He took it down, and I was stupid enough to think I had gotten through to him. But, he “likes” it every time his friends post it. Then he started making videos about how to build your own AK-15s. For the most part, we are ignored when we try to make contact. I know people, who are getting death threats, from people they know, because they don’t believe in their cause. Saturday, my husband bought his first, non work related gun. And we’re thinking of moving out of the state.

I’ve been trying to “research” the Sandy Hook conspiracy, but most of the Youtubes are extremely boring. I’d tolerate them only at double-speed but it’s tedious to set that up.
However I just stumbled upon Alex Jones’ fascinating exposé of … (Sandy Hook, I guess?). WOW!! (Sorry, I won’t even try to summarize it, but at least he seems to be on uppers instead of downers.)
