The invasion is just a distraction. The middle and end of March is when the Earth is going to run into the debris from Comet NEAT’s run-in with a massive solar flare. Or maybe a piece of the iceball is going to hit the Earth. No way of telling, NASA stopped the SOHO feed directly after the impact and has been “faking” the SOHO pics ever since.
The powers that be think anti-war demonstrations are preferable to panic caused by the knowledge of the impending end of the world as we know it.
Duct tape and plastic won’t help much against biological attacks, but probably will be very useful as improvised bodybags.
Or so I’ve been told.

Gen Franks is the Commander of US CENTCOM (Central Command). He controls all U.S. forces in the Mid-East. He ran the war in Afghanistan and will run the war in Iraq as well.
