Conspiracy Theory and Truth Verification

Have you read the thread at all? I am not looking for a “Conspiracy”, I am looking for info on a group where most of the info on the group from a certain perspective is from Conspiracy theorists. So the thread is about how to sift through those conspiracy theorists to find the nugget of truth.

Erek

uh, no… I was using it as an example for the OP. Since neither one of us is a ballistic expert, your answer is as irrelevant to me as mine is to you.

I’ve seen and read info from ballistic experts that have said a shot from the grassy knoll. I’ve also read and seen the “shot from the rear” experts. We all believe what we believe. I’m not here to argue the Kennedy assassination. Your reply is moronic.

Stick to the OP.

[b/]Erek**, you need a Deep Throat. You need verifiable and reliable proof from an Insider; someone who had knowledge and access to the privileged, wink and a handshake, conversations and double dealings of the red rooms. That is the legitimizer of Conspiracy.

But even if you’re satisfied your Deep Throat is a genuine insider, how can you be sure he/she is telling you the truth?

My understanding is that by shooting cadavers in the head with high-powered rifles they discovered that the head tends to jerk towards the source of the bullet, not away from it. The explanation I heard was that the bullet penetrates the skull cleanly and quickly on entrance, but exits the skull much less cleanly, blowing out a whole bunch of material that blows the head backward.

Frankly, I don’t know if this is true, but if they actually did this with cadavers and got the results I heard of, then it seems like pretty convincing evidence that the shot that hit Kennedy’s head could have come from Oswald.

Yes, there is always the chance for disinformation. I would say look towards the material and verifiable and always search for motive.

Yeah, actually one of the things that inspired this thread was a book I found on a conspiracy website claiming to be written by an officer involved in Iran-Contra. So what I was wondering is why isn’t this guy well known? Why is his book being hawked on Conspiracy sites, rather than out there in the open like “House of Bush, House of Saud”. I did not bother to purchase the book, but I was curious about the whole thing, and wanted to see what people on this board would say without me prompting them with exactly what I was looking for.

My apologies for distressing you.

I did mention the subject of the OP, perhaps my moronic first and second paragraph caused you to miss my third paragraph, undoubtably my fault.

Stick to the OP? Great idea! I wonder who brought up Kennedy in the first place?

In my industry I’m aware of the Carlyle Group buying and selling alot of hotels, again seems like rich people moving money around to get more of it.

I wasn’t distressed. You are irrelevant to me. You were being condescending and I called you on it. Your response is in the same vein.

I brought up Kennedy. I used it as an example. If you didn’t notice, I suggest you re-read my post. You tried to change the subject by slamming my example and quoting ballistics experts to prove your point, even though you concede you aren’t one.

If you can’t find your way through the paragraph, here is my suggestion to the OP. I’ll type slowly…

To me, I think the best way to prove anything is to be completely objective, allow for different points of view, and by all means follow the money.

I hope that helps. I’m not sure if anyone can help the OP out, but that was my suggestion. As someone else in this thread has suggested, a **Deep Throat ** character to help you find your way is probably the only way you’ll get to the truth. But even then you’ll have to find a way to prove the veracity of your source.

BMalion and The Blonde Bomber, if you have now each vented a bit, please leave any personal references or observations out of this thread.

Thank you.
