Contact with the Great Beyond--Psychics like Praagh

It’s been offered. About a dozen times. And ignored/refused… About a dozen times…

Actually, if you’ll back up a few pages you’ll see that the Army did conduct a study, though I think it’s a bit much to say there was a department devoted to it. Nothing was proven. The study has apparently been called off.

On that note, regarding the Legion of Merit award alledgedly given to one of the participants in the remote viewing study, there’s been some discussion over whether or not that particular award was given to U.S. service men or not. The following quote should help.

So, it’s possible, but not necessarily likely that McGoneagle would have received this award for his participation in the Remote Viewing study. Perhaps he had received it previously?

They test them to see if they are really providing the quality service they claim to be? GASP

Or perhaps it has been nominally awarded to him, but never actually given to him because there’s no need. Even though the award is sitting in a filing cabinet in a dusty basement of the Pentagon, McGoneagle is perfectly satisfied because in his mind he can see it, with his name on it, remotely. And since he has taught all his friends and family to use remote viewing techniques, they can all see it too, so he can show it off without actually having it in his hand.

Hmm, Quality Control department here. Psychic rejected by inspector no. 9.

Not to me, it hasn’t. Perhaps this would be a good time for you to read this discussion on the subject.

There’s lot’s of information on the internet about a variety of different things, that doesn’t mean it’s true. Please present your evidence though.

Ya mean Alex Cieu has not discovered physical immortality?

But, the Bonsai Kitty thing is real isn’t it?

Whoa there!! I didn’t mean HE was fake! Of course he’s found the cure for death.

Keep this on the DL, but yes it’s real. There’s actually a conspiracy afoot, run by *Masonic Jews. The cats were going to be used as paper wieghts and loaded with cameras to spy on the top leaders of the world.
*In case you didn’t know, the Jews had to team up with the Masons in order to take on the illuminata for control of the world. Once they had beating the illuminata, using a series of complicated hand gestures and wiffle bats, they decided they liked their teamwork and the match stuck.

I believe in the intelligence of the average person. They know a lot more than the so-called authorities think they do.

As for me telling the difference. I sense their energy, emotions, I get a “feel” for them. I look closely at what they say, and how they say it. Of course, if they are reading for me then it is easier because I can judge their accuracy also. In all communications there are several levels, the intellectual, the emotions, and the honesty lever. Hard to explain, but with James Van Praagh, the energy is so high and the emotions so loving, he is a natural.
With John Edwards, the energy is not real high and he is sometimes not loving, but he is pretty good. I would like a reading from either of them.

More later…

That’s all very well, Lekatt. We know you believe you have Powers. What about ordinary people like me? If I apply your criteria to any of the “psychics”, they all seem to have a lot of energy (just like TV direct sales hosts) and they all exude a kind of pseudo love, but they all seem like fakes.

How do I tell?

Until bureaucracy unwinds its tape for me…
The closest thing I’ve been able to find about his LoM citation is this:

I’m not sure whose permission the Dr. May is talking about. I assume McMoneagle’s as the documentation related to the citation is a matter of public record.
In addition there are several grades of the Legion of Merit. All but one, (IIRC), are reserved for persons who are not American nationals or citizens. Legionnaire is the grade that is for US nationals and citizens. Also, IIRC, Chiang Kai-shek (sp?) was the first recipient of this award.

Lekatt,
Thanks fo rresponding. I’m still not sure as how to proceed. When I go visit area psychics, I don’t think I will be able to distinguish their relative merits based on the info I have at hand. thanX for trying to help anyway.

Lekatt-I had a quick question, did you develop your ability after your NDE?

I’m curious because, to my knowledge, neither Praagh nor Edward has had a NDE and I was wondering what your thoughts were on that.

No. I’m not THAT crazy!

When I looked at the GD page Blanx had post 667, so I grabbed my trusty abacus and calculated backwards to you. I’m sure it doesn’t mean anything. Probably. I mean it had to be somebody, didn’t it?

hmmm

So loving people make the best psychics, in your opinion? What about Major Ed “Doctor Doom” Dames? Where does he fit into your world view? He says a lot of bad things are going to happen on Earth over the next few decades. Of course, anyone who is paying attention to the news and world trends could reach the same conclusion without being “psychic”, imo.

I’ve never seen that!

That’s what THEY want you to think!!!

I don’t care what THEY want! I ain’t recounting all the posts in this thread. Unless I get an exceptionally attrative offer, of course.

Um… Attractive is the normal spelling. Why did that “c” disappear? Is someone psychically messing with my posts?
