Well, I dunno about the final post count, but the thread should go at least to page three…
Page three for whom? You know everybody has the option to set how many posts appear on a page, right? With my settings, for example, page 3 starts with post 401, which is a long way off!

This would be more interesting if you were only allowed to make guesses at least ten posts after your last contribution to the thread. In that vein, I’m going for post #110.

If we’re changing the rules now, this thread could go on for quite a while.
Yes it could. 104.
Maybe even, oh, I don’t know… 105?
Was 1 week our limit on time? If so, we passed it and the answer is 105.
There was no such rule!!
107!
has anyone guessed 181? If not that’s my guess. For some reason this thread reminds me of the Ackerman Function
see
for some cool graphs, even if you aren’t into computational theory…
Can you explain the Ackerman Function in some human language?
- Ackerman Function
- 181
- . . .
- Profit! ! !
I realize now that I should have limited myself to one guess, so I am going back to the first one I entered: 127.
What’s the prize again? and how old does a thread have to be in order to be declared a zombie?
I think the OP need to revive it and declare a winner with at least a month of no posts.
The winning count should also include the OP’s winning declaration post.
In that spirit, I give you … 114!
Well, probably not 112. I’ll give you that.
Indeed. It’s now at 113, which coincidentally was the course number for my freshman English class in college. And my room number was 114, which will correspond to the next post.
Yes, I suppose it will.
+1
Oops. That’s what I get for leaving the window open. 116. Although that doesn’t include the congratulatory post, which would make it 117.
159
120
I could definitely see this thread going up to post 120.
