Earlier there was a thread questioning the morality and possible difficulties of having mercenaries as a major force in Iraq and other conflicts. It looks like things are even worse than we had guessed.

Apparently they are treating them rather badly.
So now the question is what is going to happen. Apparently the mercs aren’t necessarily under our jurisdiction while in Iraq, and I doubt that Iraq is ready to put them on trial. I am not even sure the US would allow it. What do we do with them and how do we prevent this in the future? As it is we are giving some seriously questionable people free reign with prisoners.
