I was pulled over on the 10 fwy right where it splits off near downtown. He actually told me (over the loudspeaker) to go to the next exit (which was a ways away) since there wasn’t room on the side of the road. Why do you have to stop RIGHT NOW? Just cops with a god complex.

I think that’s the name of the news feature on Channel 5 in that market, at least that’s how I read it. So something like “footage reviewed by us shows officers turning off or muting cameras.”
I think you are right. It just reads funny but I bet it sounds ok as a sound byte.

Body cam footage that is mysteriously unavailable should be interpreted in the worst way possible for the officer involved, kind of like in tax court.
“Oh, you had all these deductions but lost the receipts? No deduction for you, sir.”
I am usually ok with bad cops/incompetent cops/racist cops being at fault. but this one gives me pause.
It would be easy to clear up with body camera footage.
Oh, there is none, so it’s her word against the cops?
We know that cops routinely lie and plant evidence, so I have no reason to believe their story. They could have used their body cameras, but chose not to, implying that they were planning on murdering this guy and lying about it.

It says the incident happened in a “parking ramp”, which I assume means one of those multi-level parking structures. In this day and age, there are security cameras fucking everywhere. But not there, apparently. It makes one wonder if the LEAs are starting to compile maps of locations where they can do the thing they do without being recorded by fixed cameras.
So…a man assaults 3 officers, gets one of their weapons and the cops were able to disarm him.
Despite him having a gun and already visiting violence against officers, the cops did not shoot him.
I suspect this is a white boy.

Maybe it was because he voluntarily got into the police car. I mean, he then beat a cop with a pipe, stole a gun and fired a shot, but he did get into the police car.

Cops in Ocean City, Maryland tase a teenager for allegedly vaping on the boardwalk. Then knee him while he’s lying on the ground.
The manager of a Shake Shack in New York City are suing three police officers and the police unions for defaming him and falsely arresting him after they claimed he had put toxic substances in their shakes. There was no evidence that any toxic substances were in the shakes, and the cops had no symptoms of being poisoned.
