No, it’s so not good that I’m not prepared to watch him it. And as I don’t know what the actions are, I won’t comment on them. If it’s as clear cut as you say, there should be no problem getting a conviction.
Oh, and just to make something clear, if it’s not already. Rape, sexual assault, consensual sex, or anything sexual can’t be claimed to be part of normal police work. Killing in self defence, using force to restrain someone, forcibly entering a property, and so on can be. There’s a fundamental difference here, and it’s not possible to claim that the cops were doing their jobs in these situations.
I’m not sure. But, if you say it was wrong, I’ll take your word for it. I could have confused it with some other crooked dealings. I was scanning through several articles VERY quickly.
The police occupy a position of profound trust. If they use that position improperly, such as to take bribes or rape “suspects”, that trust erodes. At present, trusting the police in the US is becoming increasingly difficult. What happens when fear causes the relationship between the public and the constabulary to collapse? Because fear is the precursor to anger, and anger can be a precursor to violence. This looks like a brewing kettle of social instability.
Only to those for whom the plural of anecdote is data.
Are you afraid of blacks? Are you afraid of Muslims? Are you afraid of the police?

We’re making progress guys! 10 more years of explaining shit to this moron and he’ll be a normally functioning human being. Pity his parents didn’t do it when he was younger, but at least someone is doing it.
The police chief (now retired) of Bordentown NJ has been arrested.
A former police chief of a predominately white small town in New Jersey said African-Americans had “no value” and were “like ISIS,” and suggested putting them before a firing squad, federal authorities alleged this week.
Federal authorities have arrested Frank Nucera Jr., who until recently was chief of Bordentown Township Police Department. They allege the now-retired officer referred to African-Americans using various racial slurs and instructed his officers to position police dogs at high school basketball games to intimidate African-Americans, according to a criminal complaint unsealed on Wednesday.
Nucera, 60, is facing a hate crime charge and a federal civil rights charge. FBI Special Agent Vernon Addison wrote in an affidavit that Nucera “has a significant history of making racist comments concerning African Americans, to whom he frequently referred to as ‘n****rs’” and Italian-derived racial slurs for African-Americans. One of Nucera’s officers “made numerous recordings” of Nucera that “contained extremely offensive racist comments” over the course of a year because he was “alarmed” by Nucera’s racism, according to the affidavit.
The federal charges against Nucera relate to a Sept. 1, 2016, police encounter involving an 18-year-old African-American man and 16-year-old African-American girl. A hotel manager called police because he said the pair hadn’t paid for their hotel room the night before and were swimming in the hotel pool. The FBI affidavit states that their encounter with police “escalated into a physical struggle,” that both teens “resisted arrest” and that one of the officers used pepper spray.
After both teens were handcuffed, Nucera allegedly grabbed the 18-year-old’s head and slammed it “into the right side of the metal doorjamb,” according to the affidavit. An officer heard the 18-year-old’s head make “a loud thud” as it hit the doorjamb, the feds alleged. Officers said the 18-year-old wasn’t resisting when Nucera slammed his head, but had “stopped walking for a moment to loudly complain.” The use of force wasn’t reported to the department.
Hours after the assault, Nucera was recorded telling an officer he was “fucking tired” of African-Americans.
“I’ll tell you what, it’s gonna get to the point where I could shoot one of these motherfuckers,” Nucera allegedly said. “And that n****r bitch lady, she almost got it,” he said, referring to the 16-year-old girl’s aunt, who was present at the arrest. “Fucking nipple hanging bitch. I’m so tired of them, man.”
Nucera allegedly said that black people should “stay the fuck out of Bordentown” and referred to the 18-year-old as “fucking little, fucking n****r.”
In a separate incident noted in the report that occurred in November 2015, Nucera said he wished an African-American from Trenton who he believed had slashed the tires of a police vehicle would give him a reason to “put my hands” on him.
“These n****rs are like ISIS, they have no value,” Nucera allegedly said. “They should line them all up and mow ’em down. I’d like to be on the firing squad, I could do it. I used to think about if I could shoot someone or not, I could do it, I’m tired of it.”
Nucera also “instructed police officers to bring canines to certain games and position the canine vehicles at the entrance to the gymnasium in order to intimidate African American patrons,” according to the FBI. In another instance, Nucera allegedly told an officer to walk a police dog through an apartment complex so African-American residents could see him.
William Fitzpatrick, New Jersey’s acting top federal prosecutor, said in a statement that Nucera “dishonored the profession” and harbored “intense racial animosity” and senseless hatred of African-Americans.
“The conduct alleged is a shocking breach of the duty of every police officer to provide equal justice under the law and never to mistreat a person in custody,” Fitzpatrick said.
FBI Case number 1:17-mj-01033-AMD, filed 10/31/2017
Just another good cop doing his job. Uh huh.
These are not anecdotes, but actual facts. An anecdote is a story that you can’t verify. We can verify the instances of this happening, and the instances of cops defending their own. Even Loach has done it, refusing to acknowledge specific incidents as bad, thus indicating that we can’t trust him.
I am not afraid of black people or Muslims. I am definitely more afraid of cops now. It was inevitable when I learned about the blue line, and how many oppose Black Lives Matter and the anthem protests. They don’t want to fix the problem. Even Loach has defended the line and made the excuses.
And, no, the statistics you love to bring up which are created by the cops themselves aren’t helpful. If we were sure they were true, they’d be trumpeting them from the rooftops to try and fix the PR problem. But, instead, they attack BLM or the concept of protesting.
Oh, and a police officer isn’t obligated to serve, after a Supreme Court ruling. So that’s even less reason to trust. Not to mention the whole fact that they can legally lie about your rights in an attempt to get you to confess.
Cops are less trustworthy now. I even caught a (Christian) cop friend spreading Trump bullshit, which means I can’t trust his character or morals. People in general are less trustworthy after voting Trump.
No, no, and yes, like almost everyone with functioning brain cells. Only one of those three groups can legally assault and kill me and get away with it.
A very striking example of how, even in the present, it’s entirely reasonable for some black Americans to view law enforcement as dangerous and even deadly enemies.
You might want to check your brain cells, then, because blacks and Muslims can also legally assault or kill you and get away with it. For instance, if you were to attack a black man with a knife and he shoots you, he will get away with it. If you break into a mosque and disrupt the service, a Muslim can assault you by grabbing you and dragging you out and he will get away with it.
In fact, anyone can legally assault and kill you. Acting legally is legal, and people generally get away with acting legally.
No, a verified anecdote is still an anecdote. Data is a collection of verified anecdotes under controlled conditions, because then you can discern if there is a pattern.
A hundred people get cancer. Fifty are treated with conventional medicine, and fifty use vitamin C in large doses. Forty of group A recover, and five of group B. Do you think you have established anything about cancer treatment by posting about the five in group B?
That’s unfortunate, because there are lots of verified anecdotes of blacks attacking people, and Muslims attacking people, but you are reacting to the exceptions rather than the pattern.
Depending on what statistics you think you are talking about, you are either wrong, or stupid. The statistics are freely available, and are being publicized. The trouble is people like you, who aren’t listening, or who lack the capability or the desire to think rationally.
Do you think that posting, as in this thread, lots of examples of cops acting badly, and being fired or sanctioned or criminally charged and sentenced, are anecdotes, or data? If you think they are data, can you explain how and why you believe that this establishes that cops are out of control and no longer subject to the law?

It’s probably best to take the advice given for bear encounters, cross off bear and substitute police officer. For example;
If you encounter a ̶b̶e̶a̶r̶ police officer on the trail, or in your campsite, stop what you are doing and evaluate the situation. Identify yourself by speaking in a calm, appeasing tone. Back away slowly, preferably in the direction you came. Walk, don’t run, and keep your eye on the ̶b̶e̶a̶r̶ police officer so you can see how it will react.
This is the dumbest deflection I have seen in a while, I honestly thought you were better than this Shodan. Yes, if I present a clear and present danger to anyone, they can legally use force to protect themselves. However, if a black man or muslim assault or kill me when I was not presenting a clear and present danger, I can count on the legal system to some extent to not let them get away with it. The same is not true for the police, where the system will bend over backwards to protect the cops in my personal experience.
Assault and murder are both illegal, so I’m doing to disagree with this stupid statement, while calling you stupid for making it. Maybe you should check your brain cells?
Somebody made the following stupid statement
and it wasn’t me.

Wow, you can tell what you wrote and what you didn’t. Truly you set the bar of intellectual achievement so high that the rest of us strain to reach it. Would you like a gold star for that amazing achievement? [/sarcasm]
In 2015, 22-year-old Warren Demesme was being questioned by New Orleans police as a suspect in the sexual assault of two girls. Desmesme maintained his innocence, eventually saying, according to a transcript or the interrogation:
The police did not stop the interrogation. Eventually, Demesme made admissions to the crime. Demesme’s lawyer wanted to have the admissions suppressed. The motion was rejected by the trial court and the appeals court. And then on Friday, the state Supreme Court similarly ruled that Demesme’s request for an attorney was “ambiguous or equivocal”, and so was not sufficient to require the cessation of questioning.
What made the request ambiguous or equivocal? Justice Crichton, in a brief concurring opinion, wrote:
That’s right. The defendant’s request could have been construed as him asking for an actual canine lawyer, so it was ambiguous. That’s fair, as I believe the State was being represented by the Shaggy DA, and the cops could have thought Demesme wanted to see him, which would just be ridiculous.
Demesme is currently in jail awaiting trial.
You’ve got to be fucking shitting me.
Y’know, constantly pretending to be an idiot might eventually stick…if it hasn’t already. You might want to try to post as if you have more brain cells than toes, just to see if you still can.
Good luck.
Shodan: our poster boy for Dunning-Kruger.
Would you like to post some more cases where police are fired, prosecuted, and imprisoned, to demonstrate how they can get away with anything, or would you prefer to post lies you have talked yourself into?
Either is fine with me.
