I took a summer school class at Harvard this summer. I received 8 credits. My university uses “hours,” a system where a normal or full semester load is 15 hours. Can anyone tell me what the approximate equivalent in hours is? I’m trying to get my case together before I have to suffer the bureaucratic hell that is transferring credit. Thanks.
From everything I’ve ever heard about transferring course credit from one school to another, the school you’re transferring to has all the authority they need to decide how much credit to give you.
Yes. It’s approximately 1 credit = 1 hour. I can’t find anything on Harvard’s website, but I imagine that the classes you took are 3-4 “credits” each, right?
