Or in Spanish, German, Latin, Japanese, or any other FL class… pick your language(s). I’m a foreign language education/French major, and instead of taking medieval French literature this semester, I thought it would be infinitely more interesting to do independent study with one of my favorite profs on using technology in the foreign language classroom. But I’m kind of stretching for ideas that seem practical on a day to day basis.
So… if you’re a student taking a foreign language (at ANY level), what are some nifty things your teacher has done with technology? What flopped, in your opinion? What do you wish you’d get more chances to use/see? …And what do you want out of Powerpoint presentations? What bores you out of your mind (besides reading notes off a text-only presentation)?
