Cool things in your wallet/purse

Solder, plain 60/40 solder, ya never know when you’ll need it.

That’s as cool as I get.

A flat credit-card size hunk of steel, one corner is a screwdriver, one is set up as a can opener, a slot to tighten something. There is also a bottle opener and a metric ruler. I love it and rarely use it.

My City of Beverly Hills Public Library card (gold-colored, of course).

My tiny blank book (mulberry paper bound in yellow silk shantung with a satin ribbon bookmark) that I use to keep track of things such as:

CDs/DVDs/books/magazines/artwork I want to buy
Movies I want to see
Songs I want to learn to sing
Restaurants I want to patronize
What sizees of knitting needles I have
Sewing patterns I want to buy
Emergency Bible quotes (to repel the zealous)
Logical Fallacy definitions (to repel the illogical)
Quotes
Assorted tidbits

Sadly, the only unusual thing in my purse right now is 36 Sam Adams Light beer tops. It’s kind of a running joke between a friend and my husband, who did not attend the Superbowl party, and I just forgot to give them to him. I should probably take those out before I go anywhere.

Everything else in my purse has a (potential) purpose, including the three loose buttons, eyeglass repair kit, latex gloves and crochet hook.

Two pictures of capybaras, and one picture of a marsupial mole, in the place where photos of loved ones usually go.

I have a small tube of strawberry+kiwi flavoured lubricant
and also I have a Get Out Of Hell Free card.

2 autographed tickets of Penn & Teller. One show was in Atlantic City on 8/14/92 and the other was in Philadelphia on 12/31/97. After the show they hung out in the lobby and talked to the fans for a while. Pretty cool, IMO.
