Certainly for players of top sides, the WC/Continental Championship is what they all want to win, since that’s what they are remembered for. For guys from mid to low level national sides, like Bale, Modric and Rooney (:D) the fact that winning an international title is unrealistic for them means that the concentrate on the CL.
Although traditionally I always support the US Soccer team (hey, its the one place where the US is the underdog), this time I want Messi to win the Copa.
So Chile or Colombia? Who walks? I’m worried about Colombia, Chile is playing extremely well.
It was just one game and Chile will have to struggle to get their emotions where they were. In the last WC, after Germany destroyed Brasil 7-1, they struggled for about 118 minutes to get a single goal to beat Argentina. Also, there is no OT in the quarters or the semis, if its tied after 90 minutes it goes straight to PKs.
Im goin with Colombia 2-1 and the Argies 3-0.
