Is there any chance for Copper to be picked up by another channel?
This is fairly common for British (e.g., BBC) series. They don’t milk a sucessful series for all it’s worth and try to keep it on the air as long as possible (like, say, CBS has done with CSI). They let it have a decent run and then choose to end it at an appropriate point.
If demand is great enough, they might bring it back, like they did with Foyle’s War. This is one case where feedback in the form of fan letters not only could help but would probably be welcome to allow BBC America to gauge audience reaction.
But it’s not a British series; it’s a BBC America original.
