HELP!!!
Can anyone help me to create a back-up copy of a floppy disk that contains an ETL file?
Every file except that one copies, and the back-up disk will not work without it?
Thanks…

If a file on a floppy disk won’t copy, either you’ve got a bad spot on the disk or the floppy’s File Allocation Table is corrupt and is no longer pointing to the right tracks on the floppy. Try using SCANDISK A: at a DOS prompt and let it do a thorough surface scan. It may be able to correct the problem. There are some rather old 3rd party tools (PC Tools and Norton Utilities) that I use that can sometimes revive bad sectors on a floppy or at least recover data from them and then mark the spot bad.
