Corey Lewandowski tweets the NYT story about the Manafort/Russia connection:

what’s the guy’s name from parks and rec…the one married to megan mullaly, with the stache?

he’s got a yuge head, like manafort

he’s on the nod, for sure. some cocktail of Xanax, Haldol, thorazine. lord knows what it is

he’s so hypoactive most of the time, it’ll take an Elvis load to tranq him up…happy death day tomorrow, btw, E-man!

this is how he kept so svelt back in the day:

[URL=“The Best Theory of 1992: Donald Trump Took Amphetamine-Like Diet Pills”]

from the link, quoting a bio of trump:

On April 19th, 1982, during the period between his license hearing before the Casino Control Commission and the groundbreaking on the Trump Plaza site in Atlantic City, Donald paid a visit to the midtown Manhattan office of Dr. Joseph Greenberg. According to the doctor’s records, Donald had been recommended by his friend Charles Goldstein, an attorney involved in the Penn Central deals. The ostensible purpose of Donald’s visit was to seek assistance in losing weight. He had gone to the right place. Dr. Greenberg was an endocrinologist who specialized in providing patients with drugs to control obesity…

Donald was so delighted with the results that he started recommending Dr. Greenberg’s treatments to his brother Robert, various friends, and celebrity acquaintances such as Diana Ross. **[COLOR=“black”]The diet drugs, which he took in pill form, not only curbed his appetite but gave him a feeling of euphoria and unlimited energy.[/B] The medical literature warned that some potentially dangerous side effects could result from long-term usage; they included anxiety, insomnia, and delusions of grandeur. According to several Trump Organization insiders, Donald exhibited all these ominous symptoms of diet drug usage, and then some.

“The first thing I would do when I got to the office in the morning,” recalled one former vice-president, “was to go see Norma Foerderer and ask her, ‘Is this a Dr. Greenberg day?’ If she said yes, I would do everything I could to stay out of Donald’s way.”[/COLOR]

if the shoe fits…

It’s even funnier when you realize Trump’s not in on the joke.

Jake Tapper just allowed another CNN ‘journalist’ to echo manafort’s lie about the NYT supposedly claiming that he was paid by somebody in Russia/Ukraine, as listed on the handwritten ledger. the two of them went back and forth, basically saying that the times story was without merit, unless there some further evidence of illegal passage of funds will be found. they sounded skeptical of that happening. does he really think the times would go with this story if there wasn’t some fire behind the smoke

stay tuned for embarrassment, Jake. you used to be half way decent, back in the Salon days, before the advent of the big bux.

too bad you couldn’t have taken a cue from Brooke Baldwin, who came on right before you, and roasted the liars sent forth to ‘explain’ trumps somnolent, rote recitation of somebody else’s words, with its idiotic plan to vet, god knows what sort of person entering the US, based on the harboring of terrorists within national borders of any particular country we choose to name.

the way it was worded, nobody from Germany, UK, Belgium, Ireland, France, Spain, or Italy, to name a few, should be allowed entry

how far you’ve fallen, Mr. Tapper

Since Trump’s plan is to only let in those who profess to be in favor of gay rights (because if you’re a gay-hater, that means you’re probably a terrorist), does he also have a plan to deport those who do not support gay rights? Or is there a clause that current gay-hating Republicans are grandfathered in now? Should be interesting.

Good for Brooke, but she may be in for a scolding from the CNN brass: if Trump folds now (or soon), CNN ratings will tank.

Gotta keep it a horse race. Gotta express skepticism of those developments that could make the election a landslide for the Dems. Gotta keep it going.

The same is true at MSNBC: we’ll continue to see hosts contort themselves into pretzels in order to explain why new Trump disasters aren’t going to be a problem for Trump at all.

…And Scott Baio, as The Thing On Donald Trump’s Head.

With a Special Appearance by Martin Shkreli as Paul Ryan’s Vanished Integrity.

What makes you think Trump supports gay rights?

sorry, but I can’t get the link thing to work, for some reason

''The Russians may have initially targeted the DNC opposition researcher who was responsible for building the dossier on Manafort. From Yahoo’s Michael Isikoff on July 25: “Just weeks after she started preparing opposition research files on (Manafort)last spring, Democratic National Committee consultant Alexandra Chalupa got an alarming message when she logged into her personal Yahoo email account. ‘Important action required,’ read a pop-up box from a Yahoo security team …

‘We strongly suspect that your account has been the target of state-sponsored actors.’ Chalupa — who had been drafting memos and writing emails about Manafort’s connection to pro-Russian political leaders in Ukraine — quickly alerted top DNC officials. ‘Since I started digging into Manafort, these messages have been a daily occurrence on my Yahoo account despite changing my password often,’ she wrote in a May 3 email to Luis Miranda, the DNC’s communications director, which included an attached screengrab of the image of the Yahoo security warning.’ ”

but but but… How can this be? Trump’s plan to ensure we are safe in our beds is to quiz immigrants and examine their social media for evidence of commitment to gay rights, gender equality and religious freedom.

It’s almost like Trump is saying two things that are mutually exclusive! But this can’t be, since he must know that everything he says is actually being recorded. He could not be that stupid.

Right?

This HuffPo blog says that the Trump campaign spent about $63m in July, yet doesn’t seem to be doing any significant campaigning (TV ads, field operations, etc.) They suggest that the campaign used it to repay the $50m that Trump loaned it for the primaries. Sounds very plausible. I wonder how much interest Trump charged the campaign.

Are we all ignoring the elephant in the room here? It’s incredibly obvious, but I guess you’re not supposed to realize it until the last moment: that money is going to fund the secret volcano-lair where he’s building the doomsday device he’ll use to bend earth to his will.

I know, I know, if we stop it now, there’s no drama, but c’mon!

Yes, but I bet he hasn’t even read the Evil Overload List. He’s doomed, I tell you, DOOMED!!

to dtilque…from the huffpo you cited:

The end-of-June FEC report indicates that Trump had lent his campaign $50m. Although Trump promised to forgive this loan, NBC news reported that [COLOR=“Black”]he never filed the papers to actually do this. Perhaps Trump repaid himself from the $63m, leaving little money for ads and field staff.[/COLOR]

what does the law say about this?

Yes, it’s true that Trump is a documented germaphobe. He wrote in his 1997 book, “The Art of the Comeback,” that shaking hands is “one of the curses of American society. … I happen to be a clean hands freak. I feel much better after I thoroughly wash my hands, which I do as much as possible.”

You know who else washed their hands constantly? No, not him, silly. Lady Macbeth.

I think this is a plausible explanation. Back at the end of June,

To my knowledge, this documentation that Trump had forgiven the loans has NEVER come forth.

I can’t read this. In my black background, the blue is illegible and the black is invisible. Please use the quote tags for, you know, quoting stuff, for those of use with lousy eyes.

Melania doesn’t wash his hands, she oh so daintily lavages his orange colored pubesac

nice try

goin’ for the body bag meme, are we, Mr. Bossie?

typical of those who have nothing of substance to add

you can blast off back to your igloo in the Oort Cloud whenever your hydro-paranoia tanks top up

how can you read anything at this site, then?

do you say this to every single post? nothing but black here, and the occasional red.

I don’t know how the quote tags help, when the font is still black. do you want me to change it to white?

here goes

Hulka, the “bolded” part of your blue post, the part that appeared black, those specific words were coded to be black… meaning black text on black background.

No big deal.
