Corey Lewandowski

The reporter could have/should have apologized to Trump. She was not where she was supposed to be. After taking part in the press conference, she refused to leave the area, stalked Trump, and then grabbed him. Oops. Other people then responded to the reporters actions. Everything that followed was a result of the reporter’s initiating contact with Trump. The reporter then played the “victim card” for all it’s worth and many in the media allowed her to do that.

The reporter voluntarily quit her job because her employer wouldn’t make her issue the primary focus of the Breitbart News Network. How dare they! Don’t they know who what’s-her-name is? Maybe it was because they saw the same evidence that the SA’s office saw? No harm, no foul. Move on. Go back to work.

Hotlips O’Houlihan: [Raving about the Swampmen’s latest stunt] If you don’t turn them over to the MPs this minute, I - -I’m going to resign my comission!
Colonel Blake: [In bed with a nurse] Goddamnit, Hot Lips, resign your goddamn comission!
Hotlips O’Houlihan: [stares, then turns to leave, wailing] My comission… my comission… my commission…
Colonel Blake: [to nurse] Little more wine, my dear?

What is the point of this? He’s not going to be prosecuted. You’re beating a dead horse.

Do you really think you’re convincing anyone who doesn’t already buy it?

What is your point? My point is that the whole issue was a tempest in a teapot. The reporter created an issue, made herself the center of attention, and the LSM found a way to blame Trump. SSDD

His point is that you are assaulting/thumping/whipping/attacking/mugging a dead horse.

Just to clarify, are you channeling Johnny Ace or is he speaking for you?

Looking at all the evidence, it’s obvious that the reporter deliberately placed herself in a situation where she might be able to play the part of a victim again. Of course, she would have had to count on the usual media outlets failure to properly investigate her claims. Then the reporter’s 15-more-minutes-of-fame bumped into SA officials who were willing to do what the media outlets wouldn’t/couldn’t do, look at all of the evidence.

And now we veer into Trumpist fantasies where any time there is a difference of opinion, the other person “deliberately” set out to harm Trump.

This is typical Trumpism.

Trump explicitly attacked Cruz on his religion.
Trump explicitly attacked Romney on his religion.
Trump explicitly attacked Carson on his religion.
Later, Pope Francis made an observation about some of Trump’s rhetoric, explicitly saying that he did not know exactly what Trump meant and would not judge him.
Trump responded by attacking the pope, lying that the pope attacked him and claiming that no Christian should attack anyone else on the basis of religion.

Some Cruz supporters put up a stupid attack on Mrs. Trump.
Trump then attacked Mrs. Cruz, personally.
When challenged on that, Trump lied and claimed that Cruz started it (while providing no evidence that Cruz even knew that the attack on Mrs. Trump was going to happen).

In the world of Trumpists, Trump is always innocent and everyone else is always “deliberately” attacking Trump.

As a neutral observer I was merely explaining/paraphrasing/clarifying/illustrating/spelling out/interpreting Johnny Ace’s point for you. You seemed confused by it so I wanted to help.

Don’t worry, doorhinge is unable to understand/comprehend/interpret/decipher/make-sense-of normal English.

You should know better than to insult other posters.

Warning issued. Don’t do it again.

Of course he did; he works for Trump, doesn’t he???

I think that you misrepresent his Holiness’ words; he wasn’t quite the evangelist for Trump before The Donald pulled his Robert-Ford-like treachery as your little statement made him out to be:

“A person who thinks only about building walls, wherever they may be, and not building bridges, is not Christian. This is not the gospel,” the Pope told journalists who asked his opinion on Trump’s proposals to halt illegal immigration.

Had you even read any of it?

The reporter had access to Trump during the press conference. The reporter then chose to approach Trump and grab his arm. Lewandowski RESPONDED to the reporter’s action.

Some people have chosen to use this incident as a chance to blame Trump for other, unrelated, issues. Pretty much SOP at this point.

The reporter doesn’t have a case. The reporter never had a case. She’s failed to convince two organizations that looked at all the facts, Breitbart and the SA’s office, and they decided there wasn’t anything of substance to her claim. Only by cherry picking Lewandowski’s action, AND ignoring the action’s of the reporter, could the internet and the usual media outlets make a major story out of nothing.
