Corn meal carbohydrates

I have some corn meal in a zip-loc bag, so I don’t have any nutritional information for it.
[ul][li]What is the ‘serving size’ for corn meal?[/li][li]How many grams of carbohydrates are there in a serving of corn meal (total, and dietary fibre)?[/ul][/li]I have some tilapia in the freezer, and I’d like to fry it up sometime.

That’s a lot. (I’m trying to limit myself to 20g or fewer per day.) I wonder how many grams of cornmeal is in a cup, and how many grams it takes to cover two tilapia fillets?

One level dry-cup measure of *Albers Corn Meal * came in at 145 grams on my kitchen scale. One the side of the box, it says serving size is 3 tablespoons or 30 grams.

Thanks, TDG. So 3 tbs. is about 1/5 cup. 90g/5 = 18g. Sounds like I could make the tilapia if I don’t have any more carbohydrates during the day, and still keep under my 20g limit. Or I can wait a few weeks until I raise the limit.

I’d make my decision based on when I bought the fish. Did you know there’s an American Tilapia Association? I am constantly amazed there are people with more time on their hands than me.
