I just happened to run across this. In Banff, Alberta, the streets are mostly named for animal, iIncluding Moose and Squirrel Streets. And those two do intersect. It’s just an ordinary residential intersection, no special indication of Rocky&Bullwinkleness, alas. And streetview didn’t have a good image of both street signs together. You can see one of them above the stop sign and if you maneuver around you can see the other.
I walked through that intersection two years ago, a friend lives right near by. I don’t think I took any photos.
Banff should contact Jay Ward Productions for R&B statues. Those will attract photo-fiend tourists.
That’s from 2012 and the streetview is from 2015. Looks like they moved the signs to the top of the stop sign post in between.
Banff needs more tourists?
Here’s a New Hampshire license plate.
Is always Moose.
Squirrel is innocent.
Wanna see me pull a rabbit outta my hat??
That trick never works.
This time for sure!
I’m pretty sure that house on the corner is the Keel family residence.
In the Agassiz Museum of Natural History at Harvard University, they have a case of mounted North American Mammals. There are a Moose and a Squirrel right next to each other. I’ve often wondered if someone at the museum is a Jay Ward fan.
