Laura Corn, author of these best selling “101 Nights Grrreat Sex” and “Grrreat Quickies” books has another one out I saw listed on Amazon. I’ve heard this woman on the radio a few times, and it seems like her main ideas are to plan ahead/schedule/make time for sex and then mix it up a bit with role playing, secret plans for your SO, etc.
Am I missing something or is this all there is? Has anyone bought her books and enjoyed them greatly, or is it all in her promotion/marketing?
I have no information about Corn or her books, but I’d point out that you should not discount the value of books about the blatantly obvious.
Sun Tzu’s Art of War is basically all common sense (attack where the enemy is weak, etc.) but that hasn’t kept it from being a classic in military strategy for a couple of thousand years. The same is true of many business and self-help books today. They contain material that would be obvious to most readers if those readers devoted thought to them, but they serve to present that material in a cohesive format and allow you to focus on the topic. There’s value in clarity even if the content isn’t terribly innovative.
