Corpse of NHL draft pick found in alps after ~14 years

Link.

Damn. At least his parents have some closure now. 14 years–after that long and where he disappeared, the only conclusion to be reached would be that he died, but to not find a body. It’s awful.

Hopefully it was an accident, & not homicide. Yes, sad for family & friends.

Those “Iceman” competitions aren’t easy, ya know.

Hmmmm. So where exactly WAS Tony Blair on August 9, 1989?

I’m just saying.

LOL! I guess it’s possible, but the idea that this could have been a homicide is hilarious to me.

How or why could that be funny? Not trying to get into a debate, I’m just trying to see the incongruity or what have you that could make it funny.

I interpreted it as the idea that it could have been a homicide is so unlikely, that it is funny. Not the act itself.

Snowboarder, 10,000 foot high mountain, it just seemed like a solid bet that he had some kind of accident. The possibility of him being murdered never entered my head. YMMV, IANAL.
