This defies commentary!
Um . . . is this a joke?
Economy of sense.
Mmm-huh???
I’ll bet Tony Blair is just kicking himself now for sucking up to W.
Note the ‘Related Item’ in the navbar to the right - If Al Gore Had Won.
My papa says if it’s printed in the Economist, it’s so.
Good catch! I’m putting that in what should turn into my weblog if I don’t become lazy again.
(I am the patron saint of perpetual procrastination, you know.)
Is there a different day for April Fool’s in Britain???
Is it called Ides of November Fool’s Day or something like that?
This can’t be serious.
Or, maybe it’s their way of getting back at Dubya for ruining the economy.
Ok, here goes. Think for a second about what would happen if Al GOre was president right now. He would do the exact same thing that Clinton did. Which is, to launch a few missles at some camps for about two weeks, then promptly announce that all terrorists in the entire world are now dead, thanks to missles. And after that, he would probably give money to the Taliban so that they could rebuild whatever we destroyed, along with a profound apology for the inconvenience. So just be glad to have Dubya here after all.
Ok, that was a wierd link.
And I like the Economist, too…
my friend actually had a philisophical idea. he said “You know, if Gore were president, we wouldnt be at war right now.”
me, being shocked (because he is very much so a republican), asked, “What? how?”
And what he said, I laughed at, and agreed to…“We would have lost already. Here, take Flordia. I hate Flordia, so just take it and leave us alone.”
And this is different from what we’ve been doing, how?
Now you’re reaching. Do you really think Clinton would say something foolish like that? “That all the terrorists in the entire world are dead because we blew up Afghanistan.”? Even after giving this speech?
I think you may need to clean that straw out from your crystal ball.
