Cosmology Questions

I just have a few questions that I would like to ask to anybody out there who have any general comments on this matter.

  1. Do you feel that the Big Bang really happened or is there another explanation as to how our universe began?

  2. Will we ever be able to determine the exact shape of our universe and rather it is finite or infinite?

  3. Will science be able to answer the question of whether there is a God or not?

Thanks for your time. Bye for now.

there is another forum on this board with oodles of discussions like this, great debates.

oodles.

  1. Yes. Maybe.
  2. No. Infinite.
  3. No.
    Bonus) Wrong forum

Welcome aboard, though.

We only deal with the tough questions in this forum.

  1. I am not a Libra. I am a necrophiliac.
  2. Definitely mayo; Miracle Whip reeks.
  3. I stopped watching Star Trek before William Shatner needed a truss.

Do you feel that the Big Bang really happened…? Yes.
…or is there another explanation as to how our universe began? Maybe.
Will we ever be able to determine the exact shape of our universe…? Yes.
…[is it] finite or infinite? Yes.
Will science be able to answer the question of whether there is a God or not? No.

Oh. Sorry. I thought it said colostomy questions.

Never mind.

I just like the large-busted, half-undressed women on the covers.

What? Oh, that’s Cosmopolitan. Crap.

Anyway:

  1. I think the last three or four decades of astrophysics, incuding the discovery and measurement of the cosmic background radiation and increasingly accurate redshift measurements leave little doubt that the Big Bang or something very much like it occurred. As to where it came from, I’ll leave to the big thinkers.

  2. I think so.

  3. Assuming that it is interacting physically with our universe, yes. Assuming it works only by magical powers, no.
