I was told once that Parmuph Nevada at one time grew some of the finest cotton in the world. I know that in the 1960s there were cotton gins, there.
Does anybody know about this finest cotton in the world thing, and do they still grow it. I’ve googled the question and also tried Yahoos new question thing. No luck either way.

Maybe your troubles are related to not spelling it “Pahrump”? Several sites, like [url=]this one, confirm that cotton was among the crops once grown there, but there’s nothing about it having any unusual quality, or still being economically significant.
