Could adhesions cause this?

About 10 days ago I woke up with pretty intense pain in my abdomen, fever, nausea, no appetite, diarrhea, and it was just a little uncomfortable during urination. These were almost exactly the same symptoms I experienced when I was coming down with appendicitis back in January. It was a Saturday so I didn’t have a chance to get in to my physician or surgeon and I was feeling a little saucy so I decided to just wait it out. I would have had it checked it eventually, but all of the symptoms went away that night. Since then, I have had some occasional lingering discomfort in my side, although I have felt it off and on since my appendectomy. It has just been a little more pronounced since then. From what I was told, the surgery went very well. My appendix didn’t rupture and there wasn’t any excessive bleeding during the surgery, but my case was slightly unusual in that I had chronic appendicitis. I came down with appendicitis on a Friday night and when I went to the doctor the next Monday I was feeling slightly better. That Tuesday all of the symptoms were gone aside from some pressure down there. To make a long story somewhat shorter, I had the appendectomy 7 weeks after I initially came down with the symptoms. I was wondering if waiting that long might have had something to do with this latest development. I was wondering if adhesions could be the cause of symptoms like that. And if I have adhesions would they have to be removed? I have had discomfort in my side for a while, but I thought that should be expected after the surgery and what have you, but this was a bit more than I care for. Thanks for your help.

OK, all together now:

GO TO THE DOCTOR ASAP!

Don´t take that as if I´ve seen something to rise worries in your description, but, well, you know; better to prevent than to cure.
