The stabbing in the side was done after death to prove he was dead.
His legs weren’t broken. Broken legs put pressure on the chest which causes suffocation. A person with unbroken legs will live longer by virtue of being able to push themselves up against the nails to breathe easier. The Romans wanted this to hurt and last…
It is really interesting that you will accept (or at least entertain) the possibility that Jesus was an alien because he did things that were impossible for the local populace to explain, but will not even consider the possibility that he was divine which would mean that he could do all of the things that an “advanced alien” could do AND (in addition) be raised from the dead - a small feat for the Creator Of The Universe!!
Jesus as an alien:
You also might want to take a look at the ark of the covenant, well before jesus. Preists going near the ark had to wear golden raiment or suffer boils, burns and their hair falling out, and after a short time, death. Sounds suspiciously like radiation poisoning to me. And gold protects better than lead.
Jesus as a Magician:
I am a professional magician. I can perform most of the “miricles” of jesus given sufficient preperation, and people better than me, with bigger budgets can do the rest. Pure illusion of course.
Whoop, yup, yer right. I guess he just happened to be allergic to crucifixion or something. However, the phrase “he gave up the ghost” in John suggests that he died voluntarily… hmm…
Well, they WERE going to break his legs (they did it to the two thieves), but he died too quickly.
