I DID check Google first, but I don’t want to use a translate-for-money site, nor do I want to download software. I just want to know what this sentence means. It comes from the back of Neil Young’s 1981 re-ac-tor album (which, BTW, is not available on CD for some reason):
“Deus, dona mihi serenitatem accipere res quae non possum mutare, fortitudinem mutare res quae possum, atque sapentiam differentiam cognoscere.”

Ah yes. The serenity prayer.
God, give me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the strength to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.

God - Grant me the serenity, to accept the things I cannot change.
The Courage*(Fortitude)* to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.
