Could we use the Kuwaitis as spys?

I’ve heard talk that one of the problems we have with infiltrating the al-qaeda network is that there aren’t enough willing pro-US Arab spies.

But I remember, shortly after the attack on Afghanistan began, hearing a Kuwaiti Govt minister saying they fully supported the American action because:

“Kuwait remembers its friends”

Is it not possible that enough Kuwaitis may feel positive towards the US that there may be few willing spies amongst the population?

Who could tell the difference between an Iraqi and a Kuwaiti? Could Bin Laden’s boys?

If not, then why not use them? They are the friendliest Arab state after all.

They could start to repay their debt.

In a word, NO.

Cultural, linguistic and philosophic differences would make it nearly impossible.

'Nuff said.

Trouble is, how do you tell a friendly, helpful Arab apart from a lying terrorist piece of shit pretending to be a friendly, helpful Arab?
