Broadband is, at least compared to places like the US and UK, incredibly expensive and restrictive in Australia.
They could have done that quiz using very simple php, or something similar.
I got five of the first five, with one an outright guess (colours of the Australian Aboriginal flag). I didn’t continue the test because I don’t want to become and Australian citizen. I’ve seen the Mad Max movies; I know what it’s like down there.
