County Highway, a print-only newspaper
Just saw this snippet, I’m intrigued! Has anyone seen it? I miss old style newspapers.

I agree. A six issues a year schedule doesn’t make a newspaper.
It’s a non-glossy magazine with (I believe) no photos, printed on newsprint, and unbound.
It’s a periodical. And it looks interesting.
The original question remains: have you seen it? Have you read or skimmed one? What did you think?
I’ve never seen or heard of it, I expect this thread to probably be the last time I see or hear of it, and I really don’t understand the point of the format. Newsprint, for all its (IMO) unwieldiness, was once the least-worst way to distribute information fast and in bulk. This is going to be slow and niche, so why is it still going to be printed on loose bedsheets of dull grey paper?
Because some people enjoy reading good content that ISN’T flashy, isn’t always BREAKING NEWS!!!, is well written, and the newsprint is actually a draw.
It’s the ‘well written’ part that I’d really like to know about. I’m not paying to read poorly written drivel. There’s enough of that on the internet if I feel the need for it.
I really like the idea. I guess I’m a fogey and a curmudgeon.
