They covered the fake “email” story with the rest of them, along with Benghazi and all the other bullshit. Don’t give me this alternate narrative that they were kissing up to her the whole time. They had no problem running with news that was hurtful to her, as long as it got eyes on their channel and site. How often does Fox run news counter to Our Dear Leader now?
Actually I think that the Senate would probably play it even more hardball than they are now. Right now McConnell wants to deal because if the economy goes bust its his guy who is going to get the blame. With Clinton in charge, he would demand a pretty big price for not standing in the way and letting everything go to hell.
I think a decently competent international response would’ve been in place by now. Given Trump, it’s everyone (hell even every State) for themselves.

Well, he has run multiple oceanfront casinos–a business with a statistically guaranteed yield provided you can get people through the doors—in a resort town that serves the entire New York Tri-State area into bankruptcy. Certainly for as long as I’ve been alive, “the only reason you don’t hear about all of our successes is that the media is biased against us” has been the go-to excuse for right-wing failures. Frankly it got old after the first few decades.
Given time and opportunity, this is what were able to come up with? Well, if nothing is the best you’ve got, it’ll have to do.
There is really no value in even responding to…people…like this. Of course, any actual discussion about the ethical lapses of the Clintons would invite comparisons to the Trump family, like he and his sons’ charity tax shelters or his fraudulent “university” over which he had to pay a $25M settlement to his “clients”, so that isn’t a fruitful road to go down. Easier to just keep screaming “Benghazi! Emails! Vince Foster! Pizzagate!” at the top of their lungs until everyone walks away in disgust.
