I’ll have to try and find the article. Doctors like cardiologists are concerned they are not seeing the normal amount of patients coming in for emergencies. It’s not that people are suddenly better, they are afraid to go to the hospital and may put it off until it’s too late.

I heard the same thing on the news. I’m in the vulnerable category. I would be very afraid to go. I would if I had to. But god, I’d be scared to death.

During normal times I put off hospital visits. I had stable angina and at least one heart attack, blamed the pain on GERD for a month. When my gallbladder went bad, I tried to ignore the pain for 72 hours, until I turned yellow.

These days I wouldn’t be caught dead in a hospital.
