“You just lost the customer base, congratulations on being woke and going broke,” commented another user.
Look, I know this sounds crazy but… Maybe, just maybe, Cracker Barrel has decided to add Impossible Sausage, here’s where it get crazy, their actual customer base wants Impossible Sausage?
Is that even a possibility that crossed the shriveled pea you call a brain?
It’s not especially healthy, but I guess it’s better for the earth, and it’s something vegetarians (maybe vegans?) can eat. If it’s good for the earth and OK for vegetarians, it’s obviously a communist plot.
It’s not like Cracker Barrel is replacing their meat sausage with the Impossible stuff; it’s just a new option. Though, it would not surprise me if some of those who are getting worked up aren’t understanding that, and think that the restaurant will only be offering plant-based sausage.
I mean, Cracker Barrel also offers salads (believe it or not!) and vegetables, but they aren’t forcing those on any dedicated carnivores, either.
They don’t believe in markets or limited government. The last admin removed any principled beliefs in exchange for outrage, edgelording, anti-sjw, etc as their whole identity.
“Also just funny how these are the same people who yell about businesses being able to make their own decisions, yet here they are getting mad that they are doing just that."
Woke? What does this have to do with that whole thing? SMH If I ever go to one of these restaurants for breakfast, I for sure will order the Impossible Sausage, and will spritz it with some Tapatio or whatever Mexican hot sauce they have on the table.
Reactionary conservatives have the cognitive skills and emotional sophistication of an average toddler. If you show them a red ball, and hide it, and then show them a blue ball, they think the blue ball is the only ball that exists and the red ball is permanently gone. Same thing with showing this new menu item to them. “Meatless sausage? Real sausage gone! Waaaaahhh!”
I remember back in the low carb craze Cracker Barrel had a special listing for their low carb foods. I haven’t seen that listing for years. The customers will decide what they keep on the menu.
